Metro
The closest Metro stop to stadio Flaminio is Flaminio on Line A which will take 20 minutes from the central Termini station or 10 minutes from the stops around the Vatican area. From there you can take tram number 2 which takes only 5 minutes. From the Termini station you should allow an hour in total. Tickets can be bought either from automatic distributors in the station itself or from tobacconists and newsagents around the city. Buy enough tickets in advance - on the return to the station after the match there will be a long queue.
On Foot
If you decide to get to the stadium by foot, the main meeting place is in Piazzale Flaminio where you will find a gathering of supporters making use of the numerous small bars from early in the morning. From there to Stadio Flaninio it will take you 15 minutes in a straight line (just follow the flow). From the Spanish steps you should add on another 15 minutes.

Taxis in Rome
Taxis may try to rip you off so if you can, get your hotel to call and ask for a price. From the Vatican area to Stadio Flaminio it should cost from between €15 and €20 and take 15 minutes. From Termini area to stadio Flaminio it should cost no more than €25 and could take around 30 minutes.
From the Airport
A taxi has a price from the airport to the centre of the city fixed by Italian law and it should be marked clearly inside the taxi. Always ask how much before you get in and if they don't tell, don't get in because the fact they don't want you to know the fixed price means they will rip you off. From FCO you will take half an hour, from CIA an hour. To avoid taxi problems then there are other ways to arrive. From Fiumicino take the Leonardo express train which arrives directly into Termini. From Ciampino take one of the private shuttle coaches which leave every 15 minutes and take you directly to Termini in 40 minutes.
Stadio Flaminio - Roma
Stadio Flaminio was first built in 1927 and it is the smallest of the stadiums that host the Six Nations.
The Stadio Flaminio is reasonably close to the centre of Rome and easily accessible from most areas. Trains from outside Rome usually arrive at the Termini station.
Ticketbooth's Tickety Tip - For decent drinking and eating try the Monti area south of Termini and close to the Forum - lots of Irish pubs and not too touristy restaurants.
